Find answers to the most common questions about the Excellence in Retailing Awards—from eligibility and submissions to the gala celebration.

 Yes, there is no limit to the number of entries you can submit.

 Yes, you can submit as many entries as you like within a single category.

Submissions should showcase project results from the previous calendar year. Multi-year projects are eligible, and results should be showcased from the previous calendar year. For example, a submission for ERA 2026 should showcase a project from 2025 or the results from 2025 of a multi-year project.

We accept applications from both members and non-members.

No, you don’t need to be a retailer to apply. You can submit projects on a retailer’s behalf, and the retailer will receive recognition.

Gala tickets are sold separately.

Ticket sales typically open in April. 

Finalists will be announced in May.

Winners are announced at the Excellence in Retail Awards Gala on June 2, 2026, at the Toronto Congress Centre.
